I was so excited to get a call from Tom a couple of weeks ago, asking me to come and take pictures of him proposing to his girlfriend, now fiance, Brynn. What he thought was going to be a quiet, intimate proposal turned into a beautiful time of surprise and joy. He showed up at her school, in cahoots with all of the staff and other teachers, to perform an original song at their chapel. The song was personal, and creative. Full of love and hope. Just what a proposal is all about.
Following the song and proposal, the whole school prayed for the newly engaged couple. It was a great moment to see the pre-teenage girls wipe the tears from their eyes (and oh, there were tears abundant) and shower this couple in prayer.
After chapel, Tom, Brynn and I snuck away for some “WE’RE ENGAGED!” pictures. They are great.
