Snapshots of Life bio picture
  • about me…

Photography is freezing moments in time. It is the moment, captured forever in an image that brings smiles, or laughs, or tears. Those images become part of us. Forever.

    Life remembered.

    Life captured

Jennifer Crane is an Austin native, a pediatric oncology nurse, and an aspiring, amateur photographer. She enjoys traveling and taking pictures along the road. Her education at Oklahoma Baptist University taught her to embrace creativity and use it to glorify the ultimate Creator. Photography allows her to capture moments and their meaning forever. This magical transformation of events into pieces of art is what keeps drawing her back to photographs.

Thank you for taking the time to enjoy this little bit of captured life.

I love this family.

I love this family. I have known them for a few years, through church, community group and now we serve in the church choir together. I was SO excited to be able to take their pictures.

The boys,  Liam and Quinn, are so fun, not at all afraid of the camera and are full of contagious energy. Brad and Heather are such an inspirational couple. Read their story at http://winthemore.blogspot.com/. Their love for eachother is obvious and I love the way it comes across in the pictures.

I love this family….

Seagulls and open weave sweaters…

The girls and I spent a fabulous weekend in Panama City, Florida in November. It was beautiful. I have decided I like the beach in winter, almost as much as in the summer. We ate great food, watched movies, took a little roadtrip to Seaside (where we played with the birds) and then ate some more. It was such a beautiful time of rest, and fellowship.

The Brothers Crane

This begins a series of blogs that are lost pictures from the last few months….. photos that have gone unseen for no other reason than my lack of discipline and ambition…

I was able to take some pictures of my dad and two of his brothers a few months ago. They are pretty funny… (there was a UT game that day, incase you couldn’t tell…)

the whole clan…

Baby Grace

A few years ago, I was able to take engagement photos of Ashley and her husband Mark. This year they had their first child, Grace. When they heard I was doing some free photo sessions, she asked me to come take pictures of her. She was so much fun, and so full of life. Taking pictures of cute kids makes my job easy!!

marisa, bryson and soon-to-be violet…

I met up with Marisa and Bryson a couple weeks ago, and ended up with these BEAUTIFUL photos. Marisa is such a beautiful momma. She never quit smiling! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
