I’ve been doing a bit of “spring cleaning” recently, and found all of these pictures that I have never shared. So. Many. Pictures.
But needless to say, my family is adorbs. And these pictures deserve to be shared. It was a Christmas full of Apple products, coffee and knitting- what every girl dreams of. No seriously- at least what this girl dreams of.
Melissa contacted me recently about taking some portraits of her family and their new baby Alyse. They were all great sports as Alyse and I spent some quality time together, posing and postitioning her to be just right for the camera. Alyse was a great sport too, putting up with me and my crazy ideas. I love these pictures! We had a great time shooting, my minor car problems notwithstanding… Thanks for having me out at your place guys!!

My dear friend Emily is getting married. So we had her and some of her nearest and dearest over for girly food like tiny sandwiches, fruit dipped in chocolate and mini cupcakes. We laughed, drank mimosas and oohed and ahhed over a mountain of Crate and Barrel boxes. You know, pretty standard for a bridal shower. Except ours was way cuter than a standard bridal shower…

I was asked in December, to photograph the Austin Stone’s Kidstuff Christmas Musical. I had such a great time getting to see all the talent and hard work that went into producing such an exciting, funny and moving musical. It captured the kids and adults alike, creating the perfect Christmas experience for the whole family. And who doesn’t love seeing their friends dressed up like bakers, candy canes and hip-hop dancing while trying to build snowmen in Texas?!

Just look at that face. Mia was so much fun to run around with. She is a beautiful girl, full of life and fun. She loves people, chalkboards and frogs. And her eyes are full of wonder and excitement. So much fun!!
